Fishing Tournament Key Facts

Tournament will be held on Saturday, June 20 2008.

Flounder is the only acceptable species.

Largest fish wins 1st prize of $1,000; 2nd prize is $500; 3rd prize $250.00; 4th prize $100.00; 5th prize $50.00.

Deadline for registration is Friday, June 20th, 8:00 PM.

Entry fee is $30.00 per angler; all proceeds benefit The Carousel Center

Participants must turn in completed registration forms and their entry fee no later than the 7:00 PM, Friday 20th June 2008 (Inlet Watch is on Paoli Court, off Carolina Beach Road.)

Weigh in station is at Inlet Watch Yacht Club, off Carolina Beach Road (see attached map)
Weigh in will be held from 4:00 to 5:00 PM on June 21th, 2008.  All eligible fish must be at the weigh-in station no later than 4:00 PM.

Raffle tickets are also available for $5.00 each or five tickets for $20.00.

The CarouselCenter is a non-profit, child-friendly organization committed to providing forensic medical exams, counseling and art and play therapy to children who are victims of physical and sexual abuse. 

The Center began operations in 2000.
The Carousel Center serves children from Bladen, Brunswick, Columbus, Duplin, New Hanover, Onslow, Pender and Robeson counties.  In 2004, over 200 new children came to The Carousel Center.
